The following information will help you get through airport security check point faster and on your way to relax at the sterile area before boarding your flight.
Things to do before you arrive at the check-in counter
- Passengers are advised to pack their own bag.
- Passengers are advised to pack their sharp objects in the check-in baggage to avoid delay at the security screening check point first floor after immigration clearance.
- Any sharp objects in check-in baggage should be sheathed or wrapped to prevent injury to security officers and baggage handlers.
- Pack your personal LAGs in containers of 100 ml each and pack them into a 20cm x 20cm size transparent plastic re-sealable bag with a maximum not exceeding 1 liter and keep it in your check-in baggage.
- If you think, you are carrying a dangerous good in your check-in baggage, please declare or ask advice from the check-in agent or airline representative.
Prohibited Items in Carry-On Luggage
A number of items are prohibited from being carried in the cabin of an aircraft or through a screening check point because they are considered a security risk: knives, guns and ammunition, toys and replicas, explosives, scissors with blades, manicure scissors, tools, knitting needles, crochet hooks, corkscrews, crossbows and spear guns, sporting goods, chemical, some house hold product, etc.
